Toby Mickelson

Hello, I am Toby and am going into electrical engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology.
At Arlington Tech at the Arlington Career Center, the high school program I am attending, I am
working as a teachers assistant for the engineering teacher Jordan Kivitz. In my time there, I
learned how to fabricate designs using 3D printers, laser cutters, and computer numerical
control (CNC) milling. Additionally, I have worked with microcontrollers, specifically the
ESP-32. I am currently combining fabrication with programming to create a simple remote control
robot to compete in a competition. For this project, I have designed and milled custom printed
circut boards (PCBs) that hold the ESP-32, motor driver, and some other components. I am also
working on rewiring a 6-axis robotic arm and repair aid in repairing the many machines spread
around the room.
